About the Owner, Nancy
I started my company, Simply Celebrations & Events, in October of 2006. I am a professional with experience in wedding planning, project management and the organization of other events. I have worked for two gourmet caterers and with a local linen rental company. Since 2009, I have been part of the Kent International Festival, a celebration of diversity, which has grown to an attendance of thousands.
In a previous career, I coordinated sales meetings, planned exhibitor booths and managed 30+ product lines for over ten years before starting Simply Celebrations & Events.
I moved from Massachusetts to beautiful Washington State in 1990. In my family here, I have two grown children and a wonderful husband. I am so grateful to be living my best life!
